We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our Front Office team at the Marine Hotel in Sutton.
Main Responsibilities:
* Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
* Check in and out guests efficiently and professionally.
* Answer switchboard and telephone calls, transferring calls to correct extensions and dealing with requests as needed.
* Record reservations accurately, noting any special requests.
* Promote and sell the hotel's facilities, including Schooner Bar & Lounge and Cucinos Restaurant.
* Ensure billing is completed correctly and efficiently to agreed standards.
* Deal with guest complaints, queries, and resolve to a satisfactory standard at first instance.
* Handle departmental floats and safe deposits, maintaining high levels of security.
* Update and balance bars, telephones, restaurant, and reception cash at the end of each shift and make lodgments.
Requirements:
* At least 1 year previous experience working within front office.
* Able to provide exceptional customer care.
* Experience using Opera and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role involves weekend work with early shifts (7am-3.15pm) and late shifts (2.45pm-11pm), 5 days a week. Premium rates apply for Sundays.
