Senior Project Manager - Construction Consultancy
We are hiring for our client, a prestigious construction consultancy based in Dublin 2, seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their innovative and expanding team. The consultancy specializes in delivering high-quality Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, and Project Management services across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, education, data centres, and residential developments.
Key Highlights:
* Lead the delivery of project management commissions, ensuring exceptional service delivery to clients.
* Conduct comprehensive background research and develop clear project briefs, plans, and reports.
* Advise clients on procurement strategies, construction timelines, and statutory consents.
The Role:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing every stage of the project lifecycle from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing project costs, schedules, and changes while ensuring successful outcomes.
* Collaborating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, fostering professional and effective communication.
* Driving innovation, including implementing BIM and IT collaboration tools, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
* Mentoring junior team members and supporting the recruitment of additional staff as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong academic background and relevant industry experience. Key requirements include:
* Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar consultancy or development management role.
* Strong project planning skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar tools.
* Knowledge of statutory consents and building control regulations.
