HR POLICY SPECIALIST Location: Dublin 2 (Hybrid) Position: Full-time Duration: 12-month Fixed Term Contract Salary:€49,000 Job Description Our client, a Regulatory Body, is seeking a motivated HR Policy Specialist to lead a comprehensive review of HR policies, ensuring they meet legal standards and organisational needs. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders and also occasional support on other HR tasks. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Assess current HR policies, identify improvement areas, and establish a policy review plan to meet project deadlines. Draft new and revised policies based on best practices and legal standards, ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Stay informed on employment law and trends to integrate best practices into HR policies. Work closely with management, the Union Staff Panel, and the Legal team to ensure policies are practical and compliant. Develop training materials, conduct policy information sessions, and effectively communicate changes to employees. Additional HR project support may be required as directed by the Employee Relations Manager. Skills and Qualifications Required: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience. Strong HR policy development, employee engagement, and stakeholder collaboration skills. Knowledge of employment law and its application in HR policies. Experience with Microsoft Office 365, report writing, and project management. Desirable: Public sector or semi-state experience. Experience in HR administration or generalist roles, especially in dynamic environments.
