Our client, a global asset management and investment services organisation is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its Network Management team within the Risk, Information Products & Control function. This role is central to the coordination and execution of global change projects across financial market infrastructures, with a focus on subcustodian, nostro, and market participant relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that supports the operational backbone of investment and fund servicing, delivering change programs with impact across custody networks, market access, and regulatory oversight.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver complex, global change programs within a regulatory, risk, and compliance framework
* Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and change control processes
* Lead governance structures including Steering Committees and Working Groups
* Support the negotiation and execution of contracts with custodians, subcustodians, and market providers
* Manage new membership or account opening processes across cash and securities networks
* Coordinate asset transition activity and onboarding with operational teams and service providers
* Ensure timely and accurate regulatory and oversight reporting across all counterparties
* Lead KYC due diligence and compliance processes for network participants
* Develop and distribute project reporting tools, KPIs, and risk controls
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong understanding of investment operations, global custody, and the asset servicing lifecycle
* Experience delivering complex programs within the asset management or funds industry
* Familiarity with formal project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, SAFe)
* Proven experience in transitioning custody services or implementing new market models
* Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, trade settlement, cash and capital markets processes
* Confident in navigating complex stakeholder environments and external provider relationships
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and facilitation skills
