Job Title: Field Service Manager
We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Field Service Manager to oversee the installation of lifts and escalators for our prominent manufacturing and installation company.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the installation of lifts and escalators at various project sites, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
* Manage and motivate installation teams, including technicians, subcontractors, and field staff, to ensure optimal performance.
* Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient completion of installations.
* Enforce health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring all activities align with industry and company safety standards.
* Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and maintaining strong relationships.
* Identify and resolve issues or delays that may arise during installation.
* Provide regular updates and progress reports to senior management.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of field management experience in the lift and escalator industry or a related construction/engineering sector.
* NVQ or HND A background in engineering, construction, or a related technical field.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in project management and scheduling tools.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Familiarity with lift and escalator installation processes, industry regulations, and safety standards.
* Health and safety certifications are highly desirable.
