Job Description The main responsibilities of the Quality Officer are to maintain our Quality management system.
Ensuring, in conjunction with the Quality team, that the laboratory and Logistics divisions operate within the company's quality management systems to meet the requirements of ISO15189 accreditation and ISO9001 certification, the Eurofins Group policies and any regulatory requirements.
Assisting in the review and approval of internal quality documents as per the company's procedures for document control.
Supporting the existing Quality team with client requests, including conducting internal audits and participating in external audits (e.g.
assessment bodies, clients).
Qualifications Education A 3rd level qualification in Quality Assurance or Science is an advantage; however, a combination of experience and training will be relevant for the role.
Experience 1-2 years in a Quality Dept/Accredited Pathology Laboratory is ideal.
Knowledge of QPULSE would be an advantage.
Understanding of ISO15189 accreditation and ISO9001 certification.
Some experience in INAB Audit/Accreditation process.
Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic with excellent attention to detail.
Demonstrate the ability to evaluate information, solve problems and make effective decisions in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
Demonstrate the ability to identify and resolve system failures and anomalies.
Evidence of strong commitment to the provision of a quality service.
Demonstrate flexibility and openness to change with the needs of the service.
Ability to work as part of a team – but show initiative and can work independently on own duties.
