Description:
The Design Coordinator will manage a large project team to produce coordinated design information that meets all relevant specifications, legislation, and regulations. This involves working closely with Consultants and Contractors to ensure designs are fully compliant and within budget.
This is a critical role in the successful delivery of the project, working alongside the Project Manager, Design Manager, and Quantity Surveyor.
* Coordinate design information between Consultants and Contractors
* E nsure compliance with Tender Specification & ER's
* Maintain awareness of current legislation and regulation
* Deliver design information on programme
* Manage and drive multiple work streams simultaneously
* Ensure designs are buildable and within budget
Requirements:
* BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management or HNC / HND / Degree in Construction Management or Architecture (including industrial placement)
* Minimum 2.5 years' experience managing elements of construction projects
