First established in 2000, the business has expanded over the years to become the leading producer of cooked meats on the island of Ireland, with a growing presence in the UK. What you will be accountable for: Support and collaborate on future proofing Innovation projects.
Manage and plan sample production throughout the whole process for either site.
Create concept samples on a week-to-week basis for current live projects.
Co-ordinating with couriers, micro lab and agencies to send samples where required.
Raise P.O.s and samples orders when required.
Test new packaging prior to launch and validate running orders.
Collect awards samples and PR samples at various times of the year.
Liaise with production regularly in relation to our product concerns which may arise on a day-to-day basis.
Assist in running the larger upscale trials for NPD projects when required Be involved in internal quality and sensory meetings.
Documentation of all trials/sample information/specification/costings/QAS's Update internal documents, NPD critical paths and actions on meetings.
Ensure new products / changes to existing products are produced safely and legally and introduced smoothly to the site.
Work with suppliers to prepare, and keep updated for all raw materials used on site.
Keep internal systems for products up to date.

You have a strong understanding of food manufacturing and the transfer of a concept sample into reality in a large-scale manufacturing environment You will be able to multitask and keep many projects running parallel to a timeline.
Analytical thinker with ability to translate facts into usable information to support a position on a task in the workplace.
Qualifications:
Essential Competent user of Microsoft Office Software including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.
Comfortable in both office and food production environments.
Comfortable working on multiple projects at one time.
Desirable You will have a degree in Food Science or related discipline.
Previous experience preparing Food Specifications/ labels.
Previous experience in Food Manufacturing.
