Grant Administration and Finance Specialist
This is a critical role reporting to the Central Finance Manager, requiring exceptional leadership and administration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with partners and stakeholders to ensure compliance with grant draw-down and payment schedules.
* Process sales and purchase invoices, grant claims, and EFT payment files for grant funding received.
* Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Department of Transport and C&AG.
* Lead the month-end grants process and support Grant and External audits as required.
Contribute to Compliance Culture:
* Ensure robust internal controls and audit standards are achieved and maintained.
* Support the preparation of annual Financial Statements and budget process.
Project Collaboration:
* Collaborate on continuous improvement projects, leveraging technology and financial systems to streamline business processes.
* Coordinate and assist in the development of Finance Systems upgrades, enhancements, and process developments.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in grant management/administration, finance, or compliance, with 2+ years of team-lead/supervisory experience.
* Strong organisation, communication, and IT skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
