Role Purpose
As the Investment Strategy Manager, you will lead a project financing and equity transaction team to ensure ESB's development pipeline of opportunities is financed and commercialized optimally.
* Manage stakeholder engagement for approvals of establishment and execution of individual partnerships and joint ventures.
* Lead asset sale or acquisition processes through offer selection, evaluation, approval, and stakeholder management.
* Appoint technical, commercial, tax, and legal advisors as required for any sale or acquisition transaction.
* Execute project financing processes for individual assets and investments.
* Negotiate material commercial contracts, including share purchase agreements, SHA, framework agreements, and refresh of investment parameters process.
Requirements
* Qualified Accountant/CFA qualified with minimum 10 years of experience.
* Significant experience in non-recourse project finance for infrastructure investments, acquisitions, or divestment processes.
* Experience managing teams, recruitment, people development, performance management, and review.
* Business case development experience across multiple energy generation technologies.
* Contract negotiation skills, including shareholder agreements, share purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, off-take agreements, option agreements, finance documents, etc.
* Ability to formulate a commercialization strategy for assets.
* Working knowledge of tax, accounting, insurance, treasury, and legal issues related to large infrastructure projects/companies.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
* Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
