Old Town Wine Bar, an exciting new venue in Le Pole Square, is looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused waiting staff to join our team. As part of our waiting staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience at our wine bar.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet guests warmly and guide them through the wine bar experience.
2. Take orders efficiently, offering recommendations on wine and food pairings.
3. Serve wine and food to guests, ensuring a high standard of presentation and service.
4. Provide knowledgeable responses to guest questions about the wine menu and bar offerings.
5. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
6. Work closely with the sommelier and kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
7. Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints in a professional manner.
8. Process payments accurately and manage any customer transactions.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant, bar, or café is preferred but not required.
2. Strong communication and customer service skills.
3. An interest or basic knowledge of wine is a plus, with a willingness to learn more.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
5. Team-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
6. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
