Your new role You will head up a newly established tax department as the company aims to bring all international taxation activities in-house over the coming years.
You will be responsible for preparing all CT returns for multiple Irish/UK entities as well having oversight over all tax compliance and risk assessment frameworks and tax management/planning across European and US entities.
You will be the primary point of contact in liaising with professional services firms on a global basis to ensure effective tax planning.
In addition, you will act as a business partner with Finance Managers internally to ensure the highest level of compliance and continuous improvement in this regard.
What you'll need to succeed You must be AITI qualified with a minimum of 3-5 years PQE.
Having a recognised accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA) is advantageous but not essential for the role.
Big 4/Top 10 practice experience is also advantageous but not essential as is having similar industry exposure.
Excellent time management, tax planning implementation, international taxation experience and communication skills are all vital parts of the role and you would be expected to demonstrate these soft and practical skills at interview stage.
