With a continued record of growth and stability, we’re on the constant lookout for fresh talent to join our expanding teams.As a leader within our Network Pricing team, you'll help with setting effective drug pricing within our provider networks to meet client and pharmacy contract guarantees through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis, and reporting. As you do, you'll find that you can make a real impact while enjoying the resources, backing, and opportunities that you'd expect from a Fortune 5 leader.Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Dublin or Letterkenny and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.Primary Responsibilities:Partner with finance to collate forecast cycle reports and presentations.Build and own a pipeline of ideas to drive incremental value and track risks for Network Pricing and Contracting.Partner with accountable owners to critically review all deliverables prior to due dates, understanding and highlighting broader business impacts of any adjusted forecasts.Review client performance trends across business segments and distribute a regular digest to senior leaders.Work with business segment leads on developing budget plans and regularly check in with these leaders to compare actuals to projections ahead of monthly business reviews (MBRs).Where actuals deviate from budget plans, ensure business segment leads have adequate action plans in place to address and ensure impacts of deviations are highlighted in a timely manner.You will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Significant experience in business-focused analytical roles (e.g. finance, business analysis).Proven experience in contract management & identifying opportunities for financial improvement or cost reduction.Demonstrable experience understanding business impacts and interplay of complex and nuanced financial levers and communicating these to senior leaders.Undergraduate degree in a numerical subject (e.g. Finance, Economics, Mathematics).Experience leading projects with accountability of work for senior leaders.Strong communication skills, able to work with stakeholders from multiple levels and disciplines.Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience.Preferred Qualifications:Data visualization experience with Tableau or Power BI.Experience working in industries such as Healthcare, Financial Services, Banking, or Telco.Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
