Responsibilities
* Prepare and file VAT and RCT returns
* Tax regulation compliance
* Manage sales invoicing and customer statements
* Monitor overdue account
* Payment allocations
* Resolving customer queries
* Reconciliation of AP & AR ledgers
* Process supplier invoices
* Manage expense invoices
* Process monthly payment run process
* Resolve supplier queries
* Processing weekly bank transactions
* Monthly bank reconciliations
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Assist with the annual financial audit
Requirements
* Accounting technician qualification or equivalent desirable
* Strong background in a similar role within the SME sector
* VAT & RCT compliance experience
* Previous experience in property/construction industry is desirable
* Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
* Organised, efficient and confident personality
* Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
