Job Description:
Kitchen Porter
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Report for duty on time according to the weekly rota.
* Aquire knowledge of food & beverage policies and procedures by kitchen hygiene standards and HACCP.
* Carry out all cleaning duties according to the cleaning rota.
* Ensure cleanliness of storage areas, crockery, and cooking utensils.
* Inform Head Chef when cleaning equipment needs ordering.
* Become familiar with kitchen equipment and its requirements for cleaning.
* Report faulty or broken equipment to senior management.
* Maintain high standard of personal hygiene and grooming.
* Attend training courses as required by management.
* Perform duties instructed by supervisor/manager promptly and courteously.
* maintain good stock control in cleaning store and record stocktaking weekly.
* Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
* Ability to multi task.
* Work well under pressure.
* Clear communication skills with managers, kitchen, and dining room personnel.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Team player.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Three months experience in a similar environment.
Working Pattern:
* Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.
* Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
