Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Data Workstream Lead to be based out of one of our MedTech locations in EMEA such as Zug, Switzerland, Diegem, Belgium, Leeds, UK, and Cork, Ireland. Please note that this role is available across multiple countries and may be posted under different requisition numbers to comply with local requirements.
The Senior Manager, MT SC Regional Data Workstream Lead will be a part of the MT SC Data and Analytics Solutions team leading the Master Data EMEA regional deployments across people, process and technology as a key enabler to the overall MedTech ERP transformation.
This role will collaborate as part of a regional deployment core team driving a multi-year, highly complex, global program and business transformation, focused on EMEA regional deployment execution.
The individual in this role will be linked into the Transformation organization, a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 40+ major global MT ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products, and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance. This is a 24-month duration-based role to last the full EMEA OTC deployment roadmap.
The role will work alongside the EMEA OTC regional deployment team and coordinate the execution of all critical master data activities to ensure successful execution of regional deployments from a master data perspective, including both governance and execution of all key master data milestones inclusive of data conversion, migration, load execution, implementation of new master data management process as well as supporting all local and regional data readiness activities.
This role works closely with the business adoption team to ensure business and org readiness change impact mitigation and training plans are executed and is overall responsible for ensuring the business in each deployment is ready to operate and function in the new master data management model.
This role requires a hybrid skillset which includes a technical understanding of how data is technically used and stored by business systems as well as the business understanding of how that data is used to enable core E2E business processes across Plan, Make, Source, Deliver, Finance, Quality, and Commercial.
Key Responsibilities
1. Defining, executing and governing the master data deployment execution plan for all EMEA OTC regional deployments.
2. Drive execution across the master data deployment project plan, manage key interdependencies, and collaborate closely with business partners, MD design teams, data stewards, project PMO and other deployment workstream leads to ensure successful deployment execution is achieved.
3. Working with technical subject matter experts to ensure data objects and governance are operationalized in the form of workflow and execution roles & responsibilities for the local deployment business teams in scope.
4. Managing across several complex environments that include client staff, contractors, and system integrators, to incorporate key activities into a well-coordinated and clear master data project plan.
5. Providing regular status updates to project PMO, senior stakeholders, for both business functional teams as well as program and data operations leadership.
6. Strong collaboration within MT SC, Finance, PLM, Commercial, R&D, Enterprise SC Data Governance leads to data integration.
7. Ensure key business impacts and requirements are understood, designed and deployed in an integrated and effective project planned aligned with overall deployment milestones.
8. Support the data governance and master data maintenance design methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence.
9. Ensure quality delivery of team deliverables on time and within budget. Provide key report outs to PMO, business stakeholder on status of master data execution.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required.
2. At least 5 years of experience in ERP SAP (JDE nice-to-have) and Supply Chain Data implementation projects across multi-national companies, inclusive of master data management, data operations and data object business rule definitions.
3. Data Leadership experience on other relevant large-scale transformation initiatives.
4. Minimum of 3 years expertise in industry leading practices for managing the data lifecycle, establishing data governance, defining data standards, managing data conversion activities, and establishing business intelligence/reporting capabilities.
5. Minimum of 3 years direct experience in applying project management and data management best practices to create tactical execution plans for cross-functional teams.
6. Technical knowledge of database architecture, including how data is instantiated at the database level vs functional level, APIs, and technical error handling required.
7. Experience working with multiple data management, data transformation, data migration, ETL tools (MDM Infomatica, Collibra, Talend, Syniti, SAP Master Governance MDG, Reltio, SAP BODS) preferred.
8. High emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to build and lead highly effective diverse and multi-cultural teams to deliver insights, manage conflicts with diplomacy, and influence outcomes required.
9. Requires Travel: up to 20% domestic and international.
