PHARMA PLANT - LONG TERM CONTRACT ROLE
Provide EH&S project support for projects at the Cork site. Acts as an SME and advisor to all project teams on site in relation to EHS legislation and company EH&S Standards.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conduct EHS Impact Assessments (IA) as part of Management of Change process to ensure that all EHS requirements and company standards are incorporated
* Implement company EH&S by Design & OneCSS as required for projects
* Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, 3D model reviews, JSAs, noise / IH / ergonomics / WRAPs (machine safety) assessments, FATs / SATs, and walkdowns as required
* Support IA action closure & tracking
* Perform periodic walkdowns / audits / programme reviews to ensure compliance with PTW requirements, IED licence, SOPs & regulatory requirements
* Collating and reporting of relevant metrics / KPIs
* Lead / participate in incident / accident investigations & root cause analyses (RCA)
* PTW Improvements work with other functions to drive improvements in the site PTW process

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Previous experience working to ISO14001 and ISO45001 international standards, preferably within a Biopharma/pharmaceutical or related environment is required
* ESSENTIAL: A relevant third level qualification in Science, Engineering or EHS, with at least 5 years experience in the environment, health and safety area is a prerequisite for the position
* Good overall knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in both Environment and Safety
* Creates dashboards, power-point presentations and can track and trend KPIs, assembling information into clearly written reports, documented findings or recommendations and communicate this progress in easily understandable manner to all stakeholders
* DESIRABLE: Machine safety experience would be a distinct advantage
