Site Supervisor – Steel Construction
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the installation, erection, and fabrication of steel structures on construction sites. This role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Management & Supervision: Supervise and coordinate steelwork installation and erection activities.
2. Quality Control & Compliance: Inspect materials, welding, and structural connections to ensure compliance with project requirements.
3. Safety & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and manage site risks.
4. Project Coordination & Communication: Liaise with project stakeholders and ensure effective communication.
5. Resource & Logistics Management: Plan and organize labor, materials, and equipment.
Qualifications & Experience:
* A trade qualification or diploma/degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in steel structure erection and site supervision.
* Knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, and installation techniques.
* A strong understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.
* The ability to read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints.
