Job Description
We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team at RecruitNet International Ltd in Dublin, Ireland. We specialise in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.
This is a permanent, full-time position (37 hours per week).
Responsibilities
* Maintain a clinical caseload that meets the needs of the position.
* Conduct client assessments and create individualised treatment plans that adhere to best practice standards.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and other team members to establish goals and develop effective treatment plans.
* Communicate effectively with other team members and provide support, direction, and education to service users and their families.
* Maintain accurate client records in accordance with departmental guidelines and professional standards.
* Provide physiotherapy services within the allotted time frame and in accordance with local policies and regulations.
* Adhere to professional norms concerning ethics, secrecy, and the law.
* Prioritise patient safety and follow CORU's requirements while practicing physiotherapy within your own scope.
* Demonstrate expertise in cardiac, neuro, and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
* Contribute to the advancement and enhancement of physiotherapy services through collaboration with team members.
* Foster strong working relationships with senior citizens and their families.
Requirements
* Be registered on the CORU Physiotherapists Registration Board's Physiotherapists Register.
* Possess two to three years of post-qualification clinical experience or equivalent.
* Hold a physiotherapy degree or comparable qualification and be eligible to join the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
* Exhibit established management and clinical expertise in mental health, older adults, frail elderly people, and palliative care, as well as related medical disorders.
* Previous experience working with Huntington's patients and in a mental health setting is advantageous.
* Demonstrate a thorough understanding of health, safety, and legal requirements impacting healthcare organisations.
* Show exceptional leadership skills and abilities in people management.
