Our client is an early stage medical device company with a huge potential for growth.
As a Production Operator, you will join a small, inclusive team.
You will work closely with the R&D and operations teams to manufacture and package the product.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting, progressive company at an early stage and to develop within the team
Job Description:
Operate and maintain production equipment and machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
Perform assembly, fabrication, and/or testing of production units.
Monitor and record production data, including measurements, observations, and any deviations from expected results.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and adhere to quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process-related issues to minimise downtime and maintain productivity.
Collaborate with Engineering team and provide feedback on product performance, process improvements, and potential issues.
Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP) and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Participate in safety programs and promote a culture of safety by following all safety protocols and identifying potential hazards.
Qualifications:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent; additional technical education or vocational training is a plus.
Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of scientific and technical principles relevant to the industry is desirable.
Proficiency in following detailed instructions and accurately documenting data.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and adapt to changing priorities or project requirements.
Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
