About the Role:
Are you an experienced ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with a passion for providing exceptional service to clients? Do you thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Senior Accountant.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Assisting the Client Manager with their portfolio of limited company clients.
2. Preparing management accounts and statutory accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards and deadlines.
3. Planning workload to ensure efficient service delivery and client satisfaction.
4. Preparing corporation tax computations and returns with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Working collaboratively with the bookkeeping team to ensure efficient workflow.
6. Providing regular reporting to Client Manager on workload statistics.
7. Liaising with clients to address queries and discuss account preparation.
8. Contributing recommendations to Client Manager regarding client accounts.
9. Mentoring and supporting junior team members with technical knowledge and experience.
About You:
1. ACCA/ACA qualified with 2-3 years PQE.
2. Proficient in using cloud accounting software, preferably Xero, and accounting support software.
3. Excellent knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation.
4. Committed to continuous professional development and sharing knowledge with the team.
5. Exceptional communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
6. Enthusiastic about mentoring junior team members and fostering a supportive environment.
7. Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
