Description of Role:
We are looking for a full-time Group Reservations Agent to join the Trigon Hotel Group's Central Reservations Office based in the Cork Airport Hotel in Cork. This role will suit an organised person who enjoys learning and working in a fast-paced environment. The role will be part of a team within an office environment. You will work with colleagues, team members, and managers to achieve department and organisational goals.
Main Duties Include:
1. Provide exceptional customer service for clients at enquiry stage and beyond for all properties within Trigon Hotels.
2. Handle all reservation queries as per the company's mystery shopper standard, ensuring all relevant questions are asked to guarantee accurate reservation details are recorded.
3. Achieve forecasted revenue targets for the organisation as a team.
4. Understand all promotions, packages, and pertinent information.
5. Communicate effectively, ensuring all requests and queries from the Hotels are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Understand Hotel PMS Systems; however, full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements:
1. A good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Hotel PMS systems.
2. Previous experience in a call centre or hotel reservations role.
3. Good customer service skills.
4. Organised with the ability to work to deadlines and strong attention to detail.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
