Position: Quantity Surveying Internship (Summer 2025)

Job Description
As a Quantity Surveying Intern, you will gain invaluable experience in our project delivery process. You will assist in various tasks such as progress applications, variation submissions, and contracts administration while supporting the team with weekly and monthly reporting. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts, contributing to the successful delivery of cutting-edge projects.
This placement offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceutical, life sciences, data centre, and construction. Throughout your placement, you will develop your knowledge and skills, setting a strong foundation for your future career.
We have opportunities across multiple locations including Dublin, Kildare and Louth. Please specify your preferred location in your application.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Report directly to the Project Manager & support the Project construction team.
2. Assisting the team with monthly progress applications.
3. Generating and substantiating variations for all projects.
4. Participating in site progress walks.
5. Assisting in the production and coordination of weekly construction reports.
Skills and Requirements
To excel in this internship, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering.
2. Understanding of construction industry practices and technologies; prior experience is advantageous but not essential.
3. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
4. Excellent organisational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
5. Proficiency in MS Office systems is required.
6. Willingness to learn and demonstrate an appetite for continuous personal and professional development.
