National Strategy & Implementation Lead in Musculoskeletal Health & Orthopaedics
This is an exciting opportunity to design and deliver health solutions on a national scale under Vhi's new integrated healthcare strategy.
The healthcare strategy sets out a plan to deliver a personal and digital experience through our leading insurance proposition that provides access to a connected healthcare system, supporting our members to live longer, stronger, healthier lives.
The strategy identifies a number of priority areas that, when delivered, will demonstrate value in the form of superior population health, superior member experience, and improved affordability of care to our 1.2 million members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with clinical, operational and business leads across the organisation to develop strategic healthcare solutions for Musculoskeletal Health.
* Ensure member/customer needs are met as part of the development and design of all strategic healthcare solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and experts to drive achievement of common goals.
* Develop relationships with partner providers and third-party providers to ensure successful delivery of healthcare solutions.
* Provide leadership by negotiating, influencing and developing effective partnerships to advocate for the clinical care for the VHI population.
* Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions.
Requirements:
* Possess passion for Musculoskeletal Health with demonstrated expertise in clinical service design and delivery.
* Have a history of working in matrix organisations and/or multi-disciplinary teams.
* Hold a Consultant physician – specialist registration in orthopaedics or sports medicine, GP specialist, Nurse Specialist, AHSCP or equivalent qualification.
Skill Requirements:
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrable experience working to challenging deadlines with multiple stakeholders.
* Able to lead and work effectively with wider business areas to produce value add solutions.
* Credibility and ability to command respect from clinical and non-clinical professionals.
