We are Hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology for our Hospital client in Dublin.
Responsibilities Assessing, diagnosing, and managing the symptoms and side effects associated with cancer treatment Providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments Educating patients and families about the disease process, treatment options, and possible side effects Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients Conducting research to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of oncology nursing Providing consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals about complex patient care issues Ensuring that cancer care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards Advocating for the needs of cancer patients and their families, providing emotional support and counseling services Requirements Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration (required) Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent in Oncology Nursing (important) Masters (MSc) in Oncology Nursing is preferred.
3 years of expertise in the speciality area of medical oncology (essential).
Have demonstrated clinical and professional ability.
Have strong IT abilities and experience with the essential apps.
Have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work on his or her own initiative.
Have strong communication and leadership abilities, as well as the ability to interact favourably with patients and colleagues.
Be energetic and very motivated.
Have demonstrated the ability to work under pressure.
