About Rock Farm
Rock Farm Slane is a glamping, ecotourism and activity centre and organic farm on the Slane Castle estate stretching for 1.5km along the banks of the River Boyne. The long track to the farm takes in the views of Slane Village and the Hill of Slane beyond as you wind through fields of barley, agroforestry, cows, chickens and horses to the Limehouse Ecolodge beyond which has been built out of straw from the barley around us.
The Role
As a Hospitality Co-Ordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring every guest has a seamless and memorable experience. Your role is key to ensuring our guests attending the RFS get the best experience possible!
Duties will include:
* Ensuring the smooth running of the guest experience from beginning to end
* Checking in guests and making them feel at home.
* Providing advice and recommendations on local attractions and facilities.
* Answering phones and handling guest inquiries efficiently and professionally.
* Managing bookings and maintaining accurate records.
* Performing general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the team.
* Managing phone and online reservations.
* Assisting in the management of the whole guest cycle from pre-booking to check out.
* Ensuring all information and special requests for reservations are communicated to the operations team.
* Assisting in the preparation and co-ordination of events.
* Assisting guests to their accommodation or designated areas.
* Supporting colleagues across different areas as needed.
* Ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of our small and close-knit team.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Interpersonal service skills and professional telephone manner.
* Strong organisational capability and first-rate attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good IT literacy; (Microsoft Office).
* A friendly and personable nature and be a keen team player.
* ECDL or equivalent preferred.
* Previous hospitality or customer facing experience preferred.
For this role we would love someone who has a strong passion for hospitality. Local knowledge of attractions and amenities in the area would also be an advantage. We have opportunities across both Slane Castle and Rock Farm Slane.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €13.50-€15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 35 per week
