About the Role
This position will operate across a 4-cycle shift, playing a key role in production by starting up and shutting down moulding machines and processes, and assisting with validating new products in production.
Main Responsibilities
* Start-up moulding machines and programme robots.
* Identify, analyze and resolve problems in the production process.
* Work on continuous process improvement to optimize efficiency and quality.
* Carry out validation for new projects using scientific injection moulding approach.
* Develop optimal moulding processes and tooling that meet or exceed customer requirements.
* Ensure Quality System documentation is thorough, complete, and compliant.
* Participate in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in quality, safety, environmental and production systems.
Requirements
* Ideal level 6 qualification or higher in a Manufacturing/Engineering discipline, or extensive experience as a substitute.
* Ability to troubleshoot validation issues associated with process development.
* Experience in scientific injection moulding processing.
* Strong analytical approach to problem solving and ability to bring innovative solutions to the process.
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with peers and managers.
* Experience with Fanuc and Demag machines, and Star robots.
* At least 1-2 years' injection moulding processing & troubleshooting experience.
* Experience working in an ISO compliant environment.
