Job Title: Manufacturing Production Engineer - (Hybrid)
Cork is the location for this exciting opportunity in the medical devices industry. We are a leading Multi-National Medical Device company seeking a talented Manufacturing Production Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
This dynamic Hybrid role offers great variety and would suit a Manufacturing engineer, Production Engineer or Quality engineer looking to progress their career in the engineering sector working on unique Projects in a leading medical device company.
As a key member of our team, you will report to a Senior Engineer and work with a wide variety of teams including Quality, R&D, Production, and Manufacturing.
Main Responsibilities
* Create reports and communicate findings and recommendations to wider teams and stakeholders.
* Carry out process improvements and implement EU MDR standards across a diverse product range.
* Update documentation on all projects and findings, communicating effectively to senior management and cross-functional teams.
* Roll out and implement different manufacturing changes, including documentation updates and process change controls.
* Work collaboratively with all teams and project groups on-site for new and ongoing projects.
Continuous Improvement
You will coordinate Continuous improvement projects, owning and being part of a team within projects that bring value improvement processes, cost reductions, and process improvements.
Requirements
* A Degree in a related engineering field (Level 8 bachelor's degree) such as manufacturing, mechanical, quality, or bio-medical engineering.
* Proven experience of at least 2 years in a similar role.
* Key skills include strong communication and collaboration skills, implementation experience in a manufacturing, quality, or production environment, knowledge of EU MDR regulations, project planning and coordination, and documentation updates and implementation skills.
The estimated salary for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum.
