Job Description
Conducts design and development to build and optimize AI software.
Designs, develops, and optimizes for AI frameworks (OpenVINO) and contributes to external frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Implements various distributed algorithms such as model/data parallel frameworks, parameter servers, and dataflow based asynchronous data communication in machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks.
Transforms computational graph representation of neural network models and develops machine learning and/or deep learning primitives in mathematical libraries.
Profiles distributed deep learning models to identify performance bottlenecks and proposes solutions across individual component teams.
Optimizes code for various computing hardware backends, interacts with machine learning and/or deep learning researchers, utilizing experience with machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks.
Additional:
Designs and develops LLVM IR transformation passes to optimize deep learning primitives for various cutting-edge AI Frameworks targeted for Intel's accelerators.
Profiles distributed deep learning models to identify performance bottlenecks and proposes solutions across individual component teams.
Optimizes code for various computing hardware backends and interacts with machine learning and/or deep learning researchers.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
2. At least 3-5 years of experience with compiler frameworks, design and implementation of IR optimizations in C/C++
3. Experience with development of LLVM transformation passes
4. Good understanding of graph-based algorithms
5. Good system-level debugging skills
6. Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks will be beneficial
7. Strong production software engineering background, experience with CI, code reviews, paired programming, unit and integration testing
