Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer to join their team. Initially, you will be working on a c.€15m project and will be the sole Engineer on-site, collaborating with an experienced Project Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
* Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
* Problem solving.
* Setting-Out using Total Stations.
* Creating, managing, monitoring, and interpreting design documents.
* Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
* Supervision and monitoring of ground works and civil engineering contractors.
* Quality management and BCAR coordination.
Requirements:
* A minimum Level 8 Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
* 5+ years of experience in Civil Engineering or Senior Site Engineering for complex construction projects in Ireland.
* Strong understanding of utilities companies and local authorities' expectations and requirements when it comes to building.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Full clean driving licence.
