Job Title: Experienced Accountant for ERP Upgrade Project

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team on an exciting project to upgrade our current ERP system. This is a unique opportunity to work with a market-leading business that has delivered significant year-on-year growth in revenue, profit, and headcount.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. System Management: Provide leadership and support to Financial Systems Administrators, ensuring the current SAP system is maintained in accordance with the Financial Systems Governance Framework.
2. Financial Processes: Support the development of key finance processes to meet changing business requirements, with a focus on robust feasibility and testing.
3. Interface Management: Maintain interfaces with other key systems and engage with third-party suppliers for ongoing system development where required.
4. Audit and Compliance: Liaise with Internal and External auditors as required, ensuring controls and compliance are at the heart of system configuration in line with group policies.
5. Project Leadership: Play a key role within the ERP replacement programme, supporting the development of a revised Chart of Accounts and reporting hierarchy.
6. System Expertise: Become the systems expert and recognised key contact for replacement ERP, developing a deep understanding of the system and identifying areas for future improvement.
7. Testing and Training: Provide guidance to Design Authority throughout the project, lead on testing where required, and deliver training to finance and non-finance system users.
Skill Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA)
* Systems implementation experience, preferably in a leading consultancy firm or large corporate
* Experience in upgrading/introducing/ transferring a large-scale system
* Assistant Manager/Manager level or above experience
