Purpose of the Role
Managing the Project Team with the supervision of all contract construction activities. Ensuring that the project is installed safely, to a high quality, in a timely fashion, and within budget.
Reporting to – Construction Manager
Location - Leinster Region
Authorities
1. Order materials.
2. Issue instructions to subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Management of all on-site construction activities.
2. Implementing all project-related quality procedures.
3. Implementing all quality and safety procedures and ensuring that all personnel and sub-contractors are in compliance with these procedures.
4. Making sure that all documentation is in place to allow works to proceed.
5. Ensuring that agreed construction schedules are in place and agreed with the client before commencement, and monitoring progress to ensure that relevant targets are achieved.
6. Monitoring non-conformances and ensuring that relevant reports are completed and reviewed with the construction director within two weeks of occurrence.
7. Ensuring that all materials, plant, sub-contractors, and labour are allocated to the project in sufficient time to ensure that target dates are met.
8. Ensure that all scope changes are communicated back to the commercial department and approval is obtained prior to commencement of scope change site activity.
Education/Experience Requirement:
1. 2 Years+ in a related role.
2. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
Key Competencies:
1. Good effective communication skills.
2. Ability to multi-task.
3. Ability to coordinate contractor packages.
4. Construction experience/education in a similar role.
5. Technical knowledge/experience of the products and cleanroom fabric.
