We are currently looking to hire a permanent Finance Business Partner for our Dungarvan site .
Job Purpose:
The Finance Business Partner role is a key role within Finance Dungarvan. The role is the primary Finance interface to the business, and maximises the ability to build relationships. Scope includes decision support, simplification, financial management, and governance.
As Finance Business Partner, you will:
Financial management and governance:
1. Manage financial management activities for business unit in support of delivering business strategies and maintaining strong financial governance.
2. Accountable for risk identification and management for strong financial governance.
3. Review management accounts (actual, forecasts, budgets) to assist senior embedded business finance support in signing off on income statement and balance sheet.
4. Engage in full balance sheet review with shared services teams monthly.
5. Assist in the management of corporate approvals
6. Ad hoc duties as required by Finance Director
7. Ensure compliance with all corporate and compliance guidelines and with IFRS. Maintain strong internal control systems around company assets. Fully support all control testing and external audits performed on sites
Decision support and simplification:
8. Provide advice to customer groups by proactively identifying opportunities and raising challenges to meet business objectives and mitigate risks.
9. Drive financial awareness and Financial KPI delivery with the business functions
10. Support implementation of productivity improvement opportunities
11. Execute simplification projects and implementation of best practices.
12. Execute post-acquisition integration activities (e.g., operational excellence tracking).
13. Partner with senior embedded business finance support, functional director and leadership teams for forecasting review and approval.
What we need from you is...
Basic requirement
14. Min 3 yrs Post Qualified in a Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, MBA).
15. Experience working across a matrix business/functional unit.
Preferred Education
16. Experience working with client groups with ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at various levels.
17. Understanding of underlying business drivers.
18. Proficient financial knowledge of scenario modelling, analysis, evaluation, and forecasting.
19. Experience working in cross-functional teams and across a matrixed environment.
20. Ability to prioritise multiple tasks within a project using project management skills.
21. Experience working in the Finance function in a global organisation.
22. Experience working in a fast paced commercial P&L environment
23. Good interpersonal skills demonstrated by creation of a network of key partners within Finance and the business and the ability to bridge communications gap between finance and non-finance.
24. Understanding of systems and processes as they affect the financial results (SAP, Cognos, Workday, Siera).
