Braathens has been a key player in the Scandinavian aviation industry since 1946. As of September 2024, Braathens has entered into a seven-year agreement to operate flights on behalf of SAS starting after the new year. Through this partnership, Braathens and SAS will collaborate to secure Sweden’s aviation infrastructure while maintaining a strong focus on delivering a high-quality flight experience. We are now seeking more experienced pilots who want to join us on this journey.

Our aircraft are based in Arlanda and Kastrup, and as a Captain in our ATR 72-600 fleet, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to SAS’s production in Scandinavia. Additionally, you’ll take part in other ACMI operations in collaboration with European airlines, working with international colleagues to deliver our appreciated product across Europe.

Who are you?
* You act in accordance with the airline’s operational priorities: safety, punctuality, and care
* A confident communicator, safety-focused, service-oriented, and flexible
* Customer-oriented and empathetic
* Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high stress tolerance and the ability to work irregular hours
* Enjoys working in a team with a shared goal
* Energetic and committed
* EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
* At least 4,500 total flight hours
* Minimum of 500 hours as a Captain on a similar aircraft type
* EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate (valid for no more than 12 months)
* ICAO English Level 4 or higher
* Eligibility to work in the EU
* Preferably fluent in a Scandinavian language
