We are looking for a talented Sales Manager to join our fast-growing organisation! In this role, you will lead a team of sales professionals and be responsible for increasing our Builders Merchants client base, primarily by routing our products through our partner building merchants group members.
As our Sales Manager, you’ll recruit, train, develop, and support new and existing Sales Executives and their support staff to ensure that they meet specific new business goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The role will report to the Managing Director. You’ll need to have a proven track record of at least 2 years experience successfully managing sales individuals.
You’ll also be responsible for training and developing your direct reports, while being on top of the forecast and important leading indicators of success. You should have a proven playbook for managing 1:1s, weekly meetings, overall cadence with the team, and a strategy for generating and maintaining key relationships.
How You Will Make a Difference
1. 1:1s with direct reports.
2. Manage the accuracy of the forecast.
3. Drive and motivate the team around key objectives.
4. Drive outbound efforts in generating and closing new business.
5. Enforce weekly scorecard reviews to identify gaps in performance and areas for improvement.
6. Training and development, building out an ongoing skills analysis aimed at designing a curriculum for improvement/advancement.
7. Inter-Department collaboration across product development, purchasing, marketing, training, and support.
Who You Are
1. Minimum 2+ years of experience managing Sales Executives.
2. Based in our Ballincollig office but interfacing with our sales personnel in Ireland, the UK, and Germany.
3. Strong entrepreneurial, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals from various department types.
4. A full clean (Irl/EU) driving licence for a manual car.
5. A passion for research, training, and development.
6. Fluency in English (Written and Verbal); other European language skills (German & French in particular) are an advantage.
7. Savvy with data and looking at trend analysis to measure rep performance.
8. Comfortable with change and a fast-paced work environment.
9. Confident and willing to take part in healthy debates.
10. Detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter.
11. Strong coaching and leadership skills.
12. Eligibility to work in Ireland without restriction.

Pay
€70,000-€85,000. Sales roles are eligible for variable compensation. This role is also eligible for competitive benefits and perquisites, subject to company policy and applicable law.
