About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills. You will be responsible for:
* New business sales, adjustments, and renewals of contracts of insurance;
* Service and retention of existing business, including the acquisition of new clients;
* Delivery on agreed targets for new business and retention through the use of selling and retention skills;
* Execution of policy amendments in an efficient manner, ensuring all aspects of service meet customer expectations;
* Optimising opportunities for cross-selling, generating referrals, and engaging with customers to maximise business growth opportunities;
* Handling a high volume of calls efficiently, achieving call answering objectives for both the customer and organisation;
* Leveraging knowledge of insurance market principles and practice, providing high levels of customer care and service, and offering professional quality advice.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* APA qualification, with working towards CIP qualification;
* Previous experience (minimum 3 years +) in Commercial Insurance product lines and Commercial sales;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work flexibly with other team members;
* Awareness of insurance market principles and practice;
* A proactive, energetic approach, and positive outlook.
