Reporting to the Duty Manager, the General Maintenance Operative will be responsible for carrying out the following duties to the highest possible standards:
1. Provide general maintenance tasks such as painting, decorating, general repair, and grounds works to ensure the upkeep of grounds is meeting the highest standards and in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and protocols.
2. Carry out maintenance repairs.
3. Recycling and waste management.
4. Accommodation and venue set up.
5. Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance.
6. Goods inwards.
7. Stock control and management.
8. Identify and report problematic areas on the grounds to management.
9. Maintain effective and respectful communications at all times with residents, visitors, and staff.
10. Ensure that you and your team are committed to promoting and strengthening a culture of quality, respect, safety, and kindness always.
11. Carry out all routine daily tasks as set by your manager.
12. Provide assistance to residents as and when required.
13. Be fully conversant with all of Mosney Village’s health and safety, fire, and security regulations and procedures.
14. Daily upkeep of the department.
15. Continually seek to improve the department's efficiency and operational standards.
16. Be proactive and attend to any other issues which may arise during your shift.
17. Ensure there is effective communication within the team regarding the requirements for the department.
18. Report and communicate to the department and your manager any incidents and/or complaints which occur on shift in a timely and accurate manner.

YOUR QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
1. 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role with property maintenance experience demonstrating a rounded knowledge and broad skill set.
2. Basic knowledge in areas such as painting, carpentry, ground works, etc.
3. Strong PC skills and comfortable using systems.
4. A full clean driving license is required.
5. Excellent interpersonal English and communication skills are required (both written and verbal).
6. Experience driving a tractor and other garden equipment and machinery.
