Lidon Group has a very exciting role for an enthusiastic, organised, and outgoing individual looking to start a career in Human Resources as an HR Graduate within our HR team.
This is an on-site role based at Lidon Group Support Office in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare, with some travel between our sites required. A full and clean Irish driving licence is essential.
Our HR team comprises young, dynamic, and professional 'People Focused' individuals with extensive experience in HR best practices, training, and developing new HR talent. Team members collaborate closely with each other and with colleagues across all Lidon Group sites and support departments.
We are seeking individuals who:
1. Can work collaboratively with a diverse range of people and possess a 'can-do' attitude.
2. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
3. Possess strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and general computer research.
4. Are well-organised with attention to detail.
5. Have excellent interpersonal skills such as empathy, sensitivity, tact, and discretion.
6. Hold a Third Level Human Resources qualification.

The HR Graduate will be responsible for HR duties within a busy retail environment, including but not limited to:
Human Resources
* Being the first point of contact for HR-related staff queries.
* Administering HR documentation such as employment contracts, employee handbooks, and company policies.
* Maintaining accurate HR databases and ensuring legal compliance.
* Updating employee files and managing records related to hires, transfers, terminations, and job classification changes.
* Reviewing current HR practices and suggesting improvements.
* Providing timely HR reports to management.
Recruitment & Training
* Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, including advertising, screening, and interviews.
* Innovating ways to reach potential candidates.
* Conducting induction training for new employees.
* Maintaining training records for compliance with mandatory training requirements.
General Administration
* Supporting HR team members with administrative tasks.
* Preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations using MS Office.
* Taking notes during meetings.
* Handling calls, filing, and data entry.
* Being flexible and eager to learn from colleagues and training opportunities.
