Financial Planner
Our well-established and growing financial planning firm is seeking a Financial Planner to support our team's efforts. With a proven marketing and operations system, we have steadily increased our client base and attracted additional advisors.
We are a fast-paced, mission-driven company with a collaborative, dynamic work environment that covers the following 5 planning areas in our comprehensive planning: Income, Tax, Investments, Insurance, and Estate/Giving.
This role will lead a team that supports financial advisors with customized comprehensive financial plans, annual updates, and client-requested financial analysis. Key planning areas include financial statement analysis, risk management, benefits, insurance analysis, philanthropic planning, investments, tax, retirement income, and trust and estate planning.
We have CPAs on staff to assist with tax planning and paraplanners for additional help. Initial responsibilities include creating plans and proposals for potential clients, reviewing plans, identifying areas of opportunity, new planning strategies, and supporting lead advisors in complex meetings to present planning concepts & analysis to clients.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Economics, or related major preferred)
* 3+ years of financial services experience with an emphasis on client services
* Series 65 and/or 7 Licensed
* CFP, CPWA or other industry advanced certification
* Superior organizational, prioritization, interpersonal & management skills
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
* Experience with Redtail/CRM preferred, but not required
Additional Position Responsibilities:
* Participate in research and response to general to complex technical planning inquiries from advisors, team members, and clients
* Provide regular education sessions with Wealth Advisors to provide tools and information for them to share with clients
* Support the team with the creation and/or maintenance of advisor & client resources and collaterals

Compensation:
The position offers a competitive salary with benefits (insurance, 401k) and covered advisor fees (state registration fees, technology, E&O). The starting base salary for this role will be $70,000 - $100,000, and the position is eligible for additional bonuses based on team & company goals.
