Senior Audit Manager Competitive Salary We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Audit Manager to join our Ireland team.

Reporting to the Chief Audit Officer, the Senior Audit Manager will be a key member of the Ireland Internal Audit team, owning key relationships and providing technical support to Internal Audit teams across both Life and GI businesses.
You will support the assessment of the effectiveness of our control framework and report to Senior Management on risk management and control efficiency through delivery of a portfolio of various audits and assurance work.
This role is based in our Dublin Cherrywood office and adhere to Aviva's hybrid working policy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Audit Plan - Supporting the development and leading the delivery of the audit plan through a deep and broad understanding of the risks facing the business Audit Reviews - Delivering and managing the timely production of high quality concise audit issues, findings and audit reports Committee reports Contributing to the production of reports to Internal Audits key stakeholders Methodology - Ensuring the appropriate application, and contributing to ongoing development of, the Internal Audit methodology Effective People Management Conducting effective people management of the team in line with Avivas people management approach e.g.
objectives, honest conversations, development plans etc Skills & Experiences: Professional audit or accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, CIA or equivalent) or equivalent business experience required Analytical and decision-making skills, including strong commerciality and risk-based thinking Delivery and reporting of risk and control assurance activity, whether in a first, second, (or ideally) in a third line role Excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills Technical Insurance background and good knowledge/experience of change and transformation methodologies People leadership skills to drive delivery of audits Experience in insurance or financial services, audit/consultancy, or regulatory roles What will you get for this role?
