The Mespil Hotel has an exciting opportunity for a Reservations Supervisor to join our reservations team.
The Reservations Supervisor will assist in the organisation of the reservations department while on duty and will lead the reservations department in the absence of the Reservations Manager.
This is a challenging position for a highly motivated, hardworking individual interested in developing themselves in reservations/room revenue. Areas of responsibility will focus on the following:
* Assisting with group forecasts on a biweekly basis.
* Assisting with yield meetings and reports on a weekly basis as required.
* Leading the reservations team in the absence of the Reservations Manager.
* Responding to internal queries or complex queries in the absence of the Reservations Manager.
* Supporting the Reservations Manager in providing training to the reservations team.
The successful candidate will be required to have:
* Strong reservations experience from similar style properties.
* Some experience in supervising a reservations team.
* Excellent customer care skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work on their own initiative.
* Demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
* Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.
