Lead Process Engineer (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Lead Process Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role that combines administration and technical responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Administration:
* Plan resources effectively and monitor team project status.
* Engage in proposal and business development activities to secure future projects.
* Support and develop the company's professional development program.
* Exemplify and promote the company's core values and codes of practice.
Technical:
* Priced and scoped new projects, defined deliverables, and oversaw implementation of process designs on time and within budget.
* Prepared process design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, and equipment specifications.
* Built relationships with clients to secure future projects.
* Ensured compliance with local, international, and client codes and standards.
* Participated in PHAs, HAZOPs, design, and peer reviews.
* Mentor junior process engineers and develop tools, procedures, and standards to enhance the discipline.
* Improved collaboration with other disciplines and managed process technologies and improvement procedures.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Process Chemical Engineering.
* Possession of professional status (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is desirable.
* Team management experience in project engineering, particularly in pharma, bio-life sciences, medical devices, microelectronics, or similar industries.
* A proven track record in winning and delivering business projects.
* At least 7 years of discipline experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a design office environment and previous experience as a Design Lead.
Skills:
* Technical competence in all aspects of discipline design.
* Experience in design coordination across multiple disciplines, AE teams, vendors, and system owners.
* Strong management, leadership, and commercial awareness.
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
* Ability to build, lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
* Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and proficient in reporting.
* Computer literate.
