**Head of Sales Opportunity in Progressive Agricultural Business**
FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Head of Sales to join a highly innovative and driven team at a leading manufacturer of animal nutritional products. The business has been serving the agricultural trade in Ireland for 40 years, with key relationships established with export partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
This full-time permanent role offers the opportunity to join the organisation at a key stage of development in a strategic industry. The primary focus of this role is to provide a strategic framework for sales growth both in Ireland and the UK, as well as developing and implementing a Commercial strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Agriculture, Veterinary or Business, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience working at management level in Sales. They will have a knowledge of animal nutrition and experience in managing and motivating staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with key industry stakeholders and advanced IT skills are also essential.
The Head of Sales will be responsible for:
* Providing a strategic framework for sales growth both in Ireland and the UK
* Developing and implementing a Commercial strategy
* Leading on implementation, reporting, and reviewing of the strategic and operational sales & marketing plans to drive sales and revenue
* Leading on developing activities for all channels to meet organisational aims with cohesiveness and creativity
* Leading and project managing the sales team and wider working groups to fulfil objectives such as product positioning
* Staying abreast of progress and direction in the premix and feed additive sector in Ireland and the UK
* Identifying and leading new opportunities, including on-site presentations, negotiating, and closing
* Expanding the business into the North of Ireland and the UK
* Being a member of the Strategic Management Team, owning agreed areas of the Strategic Action Plan, and managing identified projects
* Regularly reviewing customers and strategic partners
* Managing the work programmes of relevant staff to ensure optimum productivity, personal development, and impact on KPIs
