Onnec Ireland is seeking an experienced project planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for all planning, scheduling, and commercial forecasting activities as part of our project delivery to a key hyperscale client. The project planner will be client facing and collaborate closely with the customers project planners and cost accountants.
What you’ll be doing as our Project Planner:
* Generating project schedules for agreement with client in conjunction with the Project Manager whilst meeting all scheduling standards and specifications.
* Manage project baselines from tender stage through to closure.
* Maintaining, developing and resource loading the project schedule along the course of the project.
* Tracking planned versus actual progress, working with project team members to identify and mitigate project risks.
* Generate weekly variance reports, with narratives to highlight any issues or conflicts in schedule.
* Develop ‘what-if’ scenario plans to provide schedule options in the event risks or issues.
* Prepare monthly forecast submissions for both client and internal stakeholders.
* Track financial performance of the project to ensure KPI’s are achieved.
* Ensure all client and internal reporting requirements are adhered to.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement in project planning processes.
What we’re looking for in our Project Planner:
* 2+ years of experience in project management or similar field.
* Experience user of Primavera P6 Software preferred.
* Proven track record of success in delivering complex projects.
* Experience working within Data Centre industry is preferable.
* Bachelor’s degree in management, Business, Engineering, or related field
* Excellent communication and reporting skills for engagement with both internal and external stakeholders
