Job Title: HR & People Development Manager (FTC)
Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager, Business Partner or Senior HR Generalist looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.
The HR & People Development Manager will oversee the efficient delivery of HR services across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
The role will also drive people and organisational development for the Group; performance management, engagement and talent management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional advice and support to managers and senior leaders on all aspects of the implementation of HR policy and good practices
* Support the business in handling employee relations issues, grievances, disciplinary, capability and performance management
* Maintain knowledge of legal requirements
* Provide advice and guidance on complex ER issues
* Project management of recruitment campaigns
* Oversee the effective use of maintenance of HR systems and reporting on key metrics for board meetings
* Oversee the wellbeing of employees, including absence management, return to work interviews, organising employee health initiatives and carrying out risk assessments, where relevant
* Shape and support the implementation of Talent Development activities
* Lead employee engagement initiatives
* Contribute to HR strategy
* Contribute and lead on HR projects
Requirements:
* 3rd level HR related qualification
* Successful track record in a fast paced HR environment, at a minimum of HR Business Partner/Officer level
* 3-5+ years of relevant HR experience in a generalist or HR Manager role
* Sound working knowledge of NI/UK employment legislation and HR best practice, inclusive of upcoming and expected changes
* Proven experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
* Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
* Experience of managing HR projects, including revising existing or drafting new policies and procedures
