Job Title: Senior Psychologist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our Autism Specialist Team. This is a hybrid role covering Clare, Limerick, and North Tipperary.
Job Summary:
The Senior Psychologist will work as a member of an Autism Specialist Multidisciplinary Team (MTD) to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments and reports to children and their families residing in the designated areas. The post holder will be responsible for conducting assessments under the PSI guidelines for ASD assessment, using DSM-V or ICD-11 criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and deliver reports to children and their families.
* Work collaboratively with a team of clinicians, including a Senior Speech & Language Therapist and a Senior Occupational Therapist.
* Deliver services across various settings, including home, clinic, and school.
* Maintain clinical accountability and adhere to assessment protocols.
Requirements:
* Hold a relevant qualification recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
* Currently work as a Senior Psychologist or meet the criteria of this grade.
* Have specific training and experience in using Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) and Structured Play based Assessment diagnostic (ADOS) tools.
* Possess excellent planning and organising skills.
Working Arrangements:
This is a full-time role working across multiple locations, including home, clinic, and school. The post holder will be required to travel to these locations as needed.
