Procurement Lead
A unique opportunity has arisen for a skilled Supply Chain Strategy Leader to join our client in Cork, shaping procurement and contracting strategies to enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with external suppliers to gain market insights and strengthen partnerships.
* Develop and deliver detailed strategy packs to the tender delivery team, as well as presentations and papers for governance committee reviews.
* Conduct thorough analyses of market trends to shape strategic direction and benchmark against industry peers.
* Work closely with key stakeholders to integrate best practices in contract and procurement strategies.
* Manage frameworks and team members across multiple sites to achieve strategic goals.
* Monitor and maintain supplier performance metrics, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
* Prepare monthly supply chain strategy reports, engage with business stakeholders, and build effective cross-departmental relationships.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a procurement-oriented role with a track record in developing and executing strategic initiatives.
* Relevant third-level qualification and/or professional accreditation is preferred.
* Proven experience in end-to-end procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
* Strong ability to build and sustain strategic partnerships both within and outside the organization.
* Highly motivated and dedicated to upholding the highest professional standards and achieving impactful results.
* Excellent analytical skills with a talent for identifying issues, offering solutions, and driving continuous improvement.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year.
