Operating a multi-brand modelincluding intermediaries and an MGAthis business is poised for significant expansion. In this role, youll be central to driving finance operations and enabling strategic decision-making across the wider group. The Role: We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to join the team on a 12-month contract. Reporting to the CFO, this is a broad role encompassing commercial finance, financial and management reporting, controls, and project support. You'll lead initiatives that add value, improve processes, and ensure accurate and timely reporting, while helping guide the business through its next growth phase. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial and management reports, ensuring accuracy and insightful analysis. Lead the finance function through the annual audit process. Drive efficiency and control improvements across finance processes. Assist with budgets, forecasts, and board-level reporting deliverables. Deliver monthly board reports with detailed commentary on financial performance. Produce ad hoc financial reports to support strategic decision-making. Partner with business leaders to refine KPI tracking and support operational insights. Ensure tax compliance and manage statutory audit processes across multiple entities. Lead a small finance team, managing accounting, financial, and administrative responsibilities. Support various financial projects and strategic initiatives as required. About You: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CGMA). 35+ years' experience in a similar finance leadership role. Proven track record managing end-to-end finance functions. Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and commercial acumen. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels. Hands-on, proactive approach with a mindset focused on continuous improvement. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
