Le Meas Executive Search are delighted to partner with a rapidly growing Life Insurance Company to hire a Senior Financial Accountant for their Dublin operation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review of monthly investment deliverables from investment provider.
2. Review of policyholder related tax submissions and settlements.
3. Support financial reporting, with oversight of general ledger entries and month end close.
4. Drafting and presentation of accounting memos on complex accounting matters.
5. Support the finance business partner function with quarterly preparation of key trends and results analysis for senior management.
6. Preparation & review of the statutory returns on a monthly and annual basis under IFRS.
7. Monitor cash/liquidity and provide commentary to management on trends and funding requirements.
8. Support ad hoc accounting standard and regulatory reporting implementation projects.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
1. Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CPA/ CA) with 2-3 years of post qualification experience.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience of Solvency II and IFRS (IFRS 17) reporting requirements.
3. Excellent experience in both insurance and investment accounting within a finance function.
*Our client offers a very flexible work model; you will be required to attend their office two days per month.*
