Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP, GMP, Pest Control, Plant Hygiene, and Internal Audits.
* Ensuring product quality meets agreed specifications and customer expectations.
* Fostering a Quality Culture throughout the business.
* Collaboration with site management and team leaders to drive continuous improvement.
* Providing training to all site staff on food safety and quality standards.
* Leading site audits, including third-party, customer, and regulatory audits.
* Managing the hygiene department and external cleaning contractors for cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Implementing corrective and preventive actions to address non-compliance or process improvements.
* Maintaining company policies and operational standards.
* Identifying opportunities for cost reductions while maintaining high product quality.
* Compliance with site health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
* A third-level qualification in a relevant field.
* 3-5 years' experience in a Food Safety or Quality Assurance role, ideally within a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
* Strong auditing experience (internal, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits).
* Proven experience in managing people and leading teams.
* Flexibility and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in using computer systems and software.
